Sheep Rearing
Under income generation programme we have supported many landless highly vulnerable families in Devipatnam, Rampachodavaram and Gangavaram mandals in East Godavari District of A.P with one sheep unit per family since 1998. Each unit contains [10 female plus one male sheep] costing Rs.25000/-. With sheep units, these families have completely depended on sheep and rearing them in the nearby forest and improved their progeny of the sheep and the number of sheep increased to 100…150……200 in each unit [ 10 female + 1 male ] as female sheep go on delivering lambs every year and in each delivery, each sheep delivers 1 to 3 lambs. Hence their progeny goes on increasing hence on each unit one family can happily depend throughout their lifetime as they sell the sheep when it becomes a well-grown sheep and earn money.

With our small support, many landless widows developed this broom business in Devipatnam, Rampachodavaram Mandals in East Godavari District of A.P
