Background of Chief Functionary

The Chief functionary of CREATORS is Mr.Chandra Sekhar, a Graduate in Science and having 27 Years of experience in the field of social work.

He underwent several National & International training on Disaster Preparedness, Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Information Systems, Mother and child development, Water Shed Management, etc.

He did a Diploma course on “Health Emergencies in Large Populations “in Centre for Excellence University of Hawaii. USA and also underwent training on Disaster Preparedness in the Asian Institute of Disaster Preparedness Centre. Bangkok.

He has Profound Knowledge on Development concepts and rich experience as Resource Person on Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Community Development, Project Planning, School Safety, Result Based Management, Personality Development, etc.

He is a regular Resource Person for APHRDI [Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute]. Bapatla. A.P gives training to state-level officers on Disaster Preparedness. As a chief functionary of Creators, he mainly deals with Project Planning, implementation, monitoring &Resource Mobilisation.

Our Strategy to Achieve the Above Objectives

In our 27years of rich experience in this field of Rural development, we practically noticed that to address many issues of the rural poor, apart from the monetary inputs, local human capital, appropriate Technology & knowledge and urban waste will play a vital role.

Legal Status

• Relief Since Maharashtra Earthquake
  • The relief work started with the distribution of Kitchenware kits containing utensils and bedsheets to 500 victims of Maharashtra Latur earthquake in 1993.
  • Continuously distributing ration kits and bedsheets to the flood victims of River Godavari almost once in every 2/3 years in East & West Godavari Districts of A.P from 1994 to till date.
  • Distributed 850 Kitchenware kits &  blankets to the victims of 1996 cyclone in East Godavari District.
  • Distributed 1200 Kitchenware kits & blankets to the victims of 1999 Orissa super cyclone.
  • So far, distributed 1000 Ration Kits to the COVID-19 affected families in East Godavari District.

Mr.Chandra Sekhar as Resource Person

Mr.Chandra Sekhar has rich experience and profound knowledge as a Resource Person in the Development concepts on Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Community Development, Project Planning, School Safety, Result Based Management, Personality Development etc. He is a regular Resource Person for APHRDI [Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute. Bapatla, that gives training to state-level officers on various topics on development. He has been giving hundreds of lectures/training on the above topics on many national and international daises for last 27 years.

Silver Jubilee Function

CREATORS crossed a very memorable milestone in the form of silver jubilee on 20^th January 2018. To memorise the happiest moments in our 25 years of journey and to honour the great services given by volunteers and the staff we have organised a silver jubilee function with distinguished guests. For any organisation 25 years of continuous and successful journey particularly addressing the issues of poorest of the poor with the great support of volunteers giving self-less services, National & international donor organisations, friends, well-wishers and the great support given by Governing body members.

If we look back we have done our level best by improving our skills, capacities each day strengthening the organisation by improving the systems of the organisation and tried to make it a very professional service organisation.  In our 25 years of journey we tried to address various issues in the area of health, education & capacity building, lively hoods & entrepreneurship development, agriculture, women & child development, climate change, disaster risk reduction. We think that we have done a very little, almost a drop in the ocean, still, we need to do a lot in the future.

But we have very good satisfaction and we can proudly say that we have done a very good qualitative work rather than quantitative work. With this rich experience and the need to expand the interventions in the national level, on these successful moments, we propose to expand our programmes in the national level keeping the need of the interventions to be taken up in the national level. For which we propose to utilise the human capital and urban waste as an investment for the development of the rural poor. One side we would like to develop the urge of doing social service among the youth and improve the human capital and on the other side utilise their leisure time and energy to address the issues of the vulnerable poor in the country.

At this happiest occasion of completing 25 years of our unremitting service, with the amount of rich experience that we gained in the area of social development we pledge that we will continue to reach the unreached, to address the unaddressed to develop the undeveloped vulnerable people. Creators is registered under 80G of the Income Tax Act. 1961. Hence donations made Creators Will be exempted from tax Under Sec.80G of I.T.Act.1961
